Not sure if this thread exists somewhere else, but I was reading something unrelated about things that happened 10 years ago, and I thought it would be interesting to do the same thing for Dallas or downtown history, especially since so much has changed in the last decade.
According to my own fuzzy memory and some online sources, the following buildings opened and events occurred in 2007. Feel free to add your own or make corrections.
-One Arts Plaza completed
-Joule Hotel opens
-Republic Center Tower 1 converted to Gables Republic
-Metropolitan condos, Mosaic and Third Rail Lofts open
-Adam’s Mark becomes Sheraton
-White Swan building converted to House of Blues
-Deep Ellum Tunnel demolished
