Has this project been shared on this forum. If so I apologize and site admins can delete this but I’ve never heard of this before. Does anybody know about this and where is it located?

Speaking of which… the massive Loop 12/183 interchange work that has been using this space as a staging site will finally be wrapping up soon. So that land will finally be ready to build on.

Yes, the old Texas Stadium site... I believe this was part of the pitch when American Airlines was considering this site for a new HQ.

An intruiging idea, and despite all the roads, it appears that the Orange Line would be a part of the scheme.

They built the foundations for a future station when they built the line (if they had opened it a few years earlier they would've built it out to handle Texas Stadium events). If I remember right, one of the things Irving wants to do with the sales tax refund stuff that DART is distributing to its member cities for transit projects is to finish the station in advance of/part of new development.

Wasn't TxDOT supposed to be out of the site years ago? I I feel like I remember they were going to leave when they finished the Loop 12/SH114 interchange rebuild, but then that didn't happen and then the project to rebuild the rest of the ring of highways around the site started.
