This tower is considered a very important piece of architecture history.
You weren't kidding. I was listening to 102.1 in my car today, and they mentioned this tower, which was very surprising. I don't listen to the radio all that often, so I'm not sure if other buildings get this sort of attention, but I think you're right.
I'm very excited for this building, and I think they did an awesome job with the look of it. With all the cookie cutter apartment buildings that have been going up, I would have been happy with just something unique looking, but they took it a step further and made it compliment Fountain Place so well and, once it's done, I feel like it'll fit right in to our skyline.
I'm curious to see how the street-level presence turns out, but we still have a lot of develop-able land in the CBD, so if this very pedestrian friendly on the ground, I'll be okay with it still.
