Don't believe so, but not certain. I'd suspect if it did, this thread would be flooded with messages, so I'm gonna stick with a "no" lol

I thought I recalled somebody recently posting a photo of the demolition of some of the existing structures on the site where this was going to go. Perhaps it was on the Discord?

This is one I would love to see come to full build out like the developers image, minus the name I don't love that.

Not sure if SoGood is SoDead, but here's a glimmer of hope from DBJ:
https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news ... dates.html
Hoque's team has been working with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and its rail operator to get approval to build a road through the easement area along the edge of the inactive tracks. Demolition of the final building at the site was completed just before the holidays.

Design for the buildings is complete and the first commercial building is ready to start the city permitting process as soon as the easement is figured out, which Hoque expects to happen by the second quarter.

Are they talking about the section north or south of Hickory? Because the section south through the old chicken plant is still in use by the scrapyard for storing/sorting cars (and also as part of a connection between the main railway network and the guy who owns all the old passenger cars over by Fair Park). If it wasn't for the fact that Southern Pacific had a downtown freight terminal that retained service until about the 70s I think, maybe they would've replaced it with a freeway like the the sections of the same line to the north and south (a "Central" Central Expressway, so to speak).
