The Fairmont Hotel Debuts a Kosher Kitchen

The downtown Fairmont has carved out a space for a kosher-style kitchen, separate from its main kitchen area. It starts operation next week, and will be able to handle any gathering/event that needs a Jewish-oriented menu, including bar-/bat-mitzvahs.

Great. Can we get an exterior renovation now? The exterior, especially the base, is stuck in a weird mix of 1978 and 1992.

Looks like the Fairmont is getting an exterior refresh. It appears to be going from pink to white.

Oh weird. Hopefully that works out with all the pink granite in the building's podium. I must have missed that this morning when I drove by.
