It's not actually the original. The original was a couple blocks west.

I am optimistic the change will be much better. Stockdale has been upping their tenant list as spaces are re-leased. I think I would like to see a tear down and redo to fix walking and to further extend retail south on McKinney. I guess we wait and see.
A little more digging yielded this rendering and listing on loopnet. Angle is from the corner of McKinney and Armstrong looking to the south-west. Not an earth shattering redevelopment, but definitely better than what is currently there.
