More lodging/residential/fun coming to Grapevine:

* A Wisconsin company is planning a development with 490 hotel rooms, 100 condos (a timeshare format), and an indoor water park on Grapevine Mills Blvd.

* A pricey 275-unit apartment complex and a dual-branded (Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites) hotel on Anderson Gibson Road just west of Grapevine Mills Mall.

The article didn't reveal a construction timeline or opening date for either project.

Wow, another indoor water park in that area? I wonder how that will do so close to Great Wolf.

Grapevine’s coming-soon Hotel Vin will have a food hall inside called Harvest Hall

A transit-oriented development at Grapevine's TexRail station not only will have a hotel (and apartments and a clock tower) but also a food hall. Harvest Hall will have 7 food spaces, 2 bars, and event space. Hotel Vin is set to open next June and have 120 guest rooms.

^^
This is cool to see. That little section along the lake has always seemed a bit neglected. As development continued around it, it just became more and more of an oddball. As someone who frequents North Shore Trail (if y'all haven't been there, you must!), it's nice to see some interaction along the way.

This development is back on the table as Stand Rock Resort and Water Park. Plans are similar to the earlier original: 495 hotel rooms, 166 timeshare units, 95,000 square feet of indoor water park area, and 2 acres of outdoor water park area. The 12 story complex will also include meeting space and 65,000 square feet of entertainment space (including an arcade). It will be located at Grapevine Mills Blvd./TX 121. Groundbreaking is set to take place in spring/summer of next year, while opening is scheduled for spring of 2025. Great Wolf Lodge was mentioned in the article, but Stand Rock resort officials don't see any reason for concern.
