Recent bad weather in Collin County was damaging to the outlet center. 38 of the center's 115 stores were not on the center's website as being open. The article wasn't specific as to what exactly caused the damages at the center, but the area received hail and very windy conditions during the storms. A recent expansion at Allen Premium Outlets was wrapped up last summer.
