Lafayette Crossing is proposed to include 186 single-family homes, almost 1,300 apartments and almost 900,000 square feet of commercial construction. A 120-room hotel is planned along with more than 450,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

They really need to widen I-30 though. I know it's not ideal from the standpoint of improving walkability/urbanity, but if Rockwall County isn't getting transit any time soon, they will have to improve throughput ASAP with the explosive growth out that way.

They are working on rebuilding the frontage roads out there now, then they will widen the freeway.
