New City website for bond project items/status

A turn toward greater transparency?

Well, it at least looks easier to see what projects make up a particular bond package, and what is the status of its rollout and proximity to completion.

Thanks. It's good to know that I have until 5/11/2020 to sell my place on Commerce Street and move, before they render it unlivable.

Great news! Let us know when you put it up for sale and/or the city of Dallas condemns it for being unlivable. Want to make sure I can get 1st shot at it! :D

I'd love for the city to condemn it. There's an old saying in real estate: The highest and best use of any property is eminent domain.

The funny thing is that if the city were to ever daylight Mill Creek -- which will never happen -- they would pretty much have to acquire this building. The existing culvert runs directly below our building. That the city would let people build right on top of it sounds crazy today.

Then again, I just thought of something. http://www.stillwatercap.com/properties/the-crosby/ is under construction three blocks due south. That's directly "downstream". I guess the city is still crazy...

Another unit in the building, currently for sale. Except for all the (staged) furniture it's not as nice as mine. It's under contract, but go ahead and make a backup offer!
