Guys if you are out and about Deep Elm loosing a whole block..its coming down now..Malcome X and Commerce.
Canton and Malcolm X in Deep Ellum,
Alexander touched on it a few days ago.
One whole block of building is leaving us.
Meanwhile at Hall near Malcolm X and I-30, something is starting to rise from Stillwater, the same company that tore down the old McCommas apartments in Lower Greenville and angered a lot of neighbors.
Here are two posts and one image from the DFW Progress page Facebook group. I haven't seen this site for myself. I'm assuming this site is different from the site for these apartments?:

EDIT: The image might actually be Canton and Malcolm X instead of Commerce and Malcolm X.

Oh God, which block? I hope the stick built apartment developers don't rampage all the old brick Deep Ellum buildings that make it special. Are you sure it wasn't Canton and Malcolm X where the Novel Deep Ellum development is supposed to go in?
