Looks like Loewe will be taking over the Theory space. No word on if Theory will be relocating or closing permanently.

Interesting…. Theory is more contemporary pricing and has lost its appeal over the years. Curious if it’ll land in Knox, Northpark, or leave Dallas altogether.
So it looks like the current Dior space, current Chanel temp space, and old Reformation pop up space are left. Still a fair amount of square footage, especially with the current temporary Chanel space. Interesting to see who will be next to come in/get the boot
Re: Highland Park Village
Theory shows "Permanently Closed" on Google. So it's either reopening elsewhere in Dallas or just gone. Knox or even NorthPark would be a better fit for it.
I'm curious where Material Good will end up. I can't imagine it taking one of those larger spaces. I assumed it would take the previous La Perla, but Jonathan Simkhai is going in there.

It's a Sandro/Maje type store. I'd put it next to Breitling in NorthPark.
Re: Highland Park Village
Hoping to see some more spaces announced soon. Some ideas incase HP Village Management is reading lol
LVMH: Givenchy, Moynat, and Bvlgari (returning) would be welcome additions to round out the recent LVMH brands expansions at HP Village.
OTB: Vivienne Westwood & Dsquared2 would be joining the main brands of OTB at Northpark Center (Marni, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander, Diesel)
Kering: Stella McCartney (returning) would complete the presence of all main brands having storefronts in Dallas
Richemont: Has the most room for expansion with Delvaux, Chloe, and ALAÏA missing from the Dallas market. Not to mention the countless watch/jewelers under the group Buccellati, A.Lange & Sohne, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-Le Coultre, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget
Prada Group: With the entry of Prada at Northpark Center we might expect to see other brands they manage such as Miu Miu, Church's or Car Shoe
Hermes Group: John Lobb exited Houston years ago maybe they would be willing to try Dallas with a success Hermes expansion.
Independently Owned: Faure Le Page , Missoni, Giorgio Armani (returning) , on and on lol

Re: Highland Park Village
Akris is going to temporarily open where the Reformation pop-up was. Not sure if they are renovating or squatting until another space opens up.

They probably do not want to be squeezed between construction boards and noise of Balmain and Loewe renovating spaces on either side of them.

oh... I wonder if Trina is moving or closing... It would be nice for it to move and expand to include Mr. Turk.

According to Trina Turk website they already included Mr. Turk in their location. If it's moving, I think it may actually be better suited for NorthPark or Preston Center Plaza.
Re: Highland Park Village
I could also see this Tory Burch location moving or closing at some point.

It’s nice that Trina Turk and Tory Burch have given the village a little bit of variety from being “ultra luxury” while still keeping it nicer than NorthPark.
I do think we’ll have the Anthropologie situation repeat itself with at least a couple of the “upper-mid range store” where they’ll open on Knox Street. Considering the development there, I think that’s a great way to balance it out while making that district even more walkable. Maybe even the Bluemercury can move there as well.

A boutique hotel would be the best bet for the centre for sure. Not entirely sure where they'd put it, but they definitely should. A hotel would also be nice at West Village.

It's not a question of whether it might be good, but whether the HP NIMBYs would approve of it...

I doubt it. This is one of the original and first TB locations. It opened 2005ish.

I do wonder, I bet we will be seeing more of what happened with Vince/Anthropologie happen to some other “mid-tier” stores in HPV. Knox would be a great place for Bluemercury and Tory Burch.
Re: Highland Park Village
Jonathan Simkhai is now open.
Re: Highland Park Village
Brioni is NOW OPEN on level 2 (above Christian Louboutin).
Trina Turk has announced a move to West Village @3699 McKinney Ave, Suite 315, vacating long time HP boutique, making way for the Vacheron Constantin to open soon in its place.

HUGE win for West Village! I hope they continue to fill the now-empty spaces there, it's such a nice place.

Nice! I could see Blue Mercury moving to WV or Knox area to free up some more space in HP Village.

Bluemercury and Tory Burch are the two I’d expect to see move to Uptown, then I’d expect maybe some of the designer stores from NorthPark will move to Highland Park Village (especially Hublot and Dolce Gabbana)

Chanel’s now open, and from the pictures I’ve seen I like it. Usually their stores feel like pop ups you’d find inside of a Macy’s store but this one actually looks really nice. Nothing on store designs of other high fashion brands, it reminds me a little of Ikea this time around.

I was by there earlier. It’s still under construction.

Okay, I only saw the Instagram post by Highland Park Village and haven’t made it down there yet. Maybe that’s just the temporary space and that’s why it resembles an Ikea.

Sounds like the new Dior store will have a cafe on the second floor. The Miami location has one and it looks cool! I was wondering why they needed so much space. Still think it is a tragedy all of that timeless Ralph Lauren build out is in some dumpster. As stated in a previous post the current Ralph Lauren and Home stores are meant to come together again and are both obviously pop ups. Just still not sure where. The temp Chanel space doesn’t feel big enough.

Maybe we can have nice things around here - a Dior cafe would be so cool to go to! Definitely hope we see more concepts like this coming in the near future.
Re: Highland Park Village
Not sure if we have had any updates on Dior... however Loewe, Vacheron Constantine, and Balmain have Fall/Winter '23 openings.
With Chanel set to open in late '24 . I will be very interested in what is taking Chanel so much time for completion.
Akris is set to return to its original spot in Fall '23 which leaves the Akris Pop-Up Space , Chanel Pop-Up Space , & Dior Current Space all to be vacant soon. Maybe Ralph Lauren will take the Chanel pop-up as rumored previously they will reunite their full line from its current RL space at HP Village and RL Home in Knox.

The renovated Akris store is open. Only the 2nd US location to do this type of renovation.
Veronica Beard will open a temporary location while renovating their store in the spot the temp Akris was in.

I heard a rumor from a LVMH employee regarding Louis Vuitton. Apparently, Louis Vuitton is seeking to absorb the space currently occupied by James Perse. James Perse would probably be relocated to the Knox District. I tried to verify this and there is no buzz about it in any blog, so this is just a rumor for now. Considering Louis Vuitton has opened 2 new stores in the last 5 years, remodeled NorthPark, and is currently renovating Galleria…I see this outcome as unlikely. Unless they are planning on closing the Neimans concession in favor of a Highland Park location. They did do a pop up there a few years ago. Thoughts?

Interesting... I would be surprised to see another boutique come to market given the saturation already.
Maybe it is a LVMH owned brand like Givenchy, Bvlgari, Moynat, etc. looking to enter the market

Interestingly they seem to also be in control of the AP boutique and several others across the country. I wonder if they will move the AP or open an actual Material Goods showroom.

Mario Carbone let it slip Starbucks is closing. I am not surprised since it was desperate for a remodel for several years now and doesn’t fit in with the exclusivity. Will be interesting to see what comes there. Will the temp Chanel space be combined for the new Ralph Lauren flashing and a Ralph’s coffee?

I've been waiting on that Starbucks to close. Will be interesting to see if Deno's and Peepers sticks around as well.

Re: Highland Park Village
An associate at Ralph Lauren today confirmed they are still searching for a new perm space that they hope will include the home store, full line retail and a food/beverage concept. Sounds like there are no spots at HPV big enough to accommodate what they want so they are looking at other locations including some under construction. Knox perhaps? They did also say their current Village Theatre space is already spoken for with another retailer.
Re: Highland Park Village
Apparently Rag & Bone will be moving to Knox District at some point.

I wonder if they could take the Temp Chanel + Starbucks + Conservatory on Two to create a two level space big enough to house all the RL concepts. I am still shocked they chose to leave the original space it was so well suited to them.

Nice. Love seeing that area gain more retail from HPV, definitely brings more variety to the shopping scene whereas in the past they'd probably just relocate to NorthPark.
