Levi's is now found at all Targets. I'm sure they'll have more of a selection of non Jean items. I hope they bring some of the more higher end Levi products

Considering the items they make for Target are not the same Levi's you buy online from Levi's trust me they will be higher end. What stores make for Target and Walmart are usually not the same as if they opened their own store.

Leatherology, a Dallas based personalized leather goods brand is opening a retail location next to Steve Madden. They seem to have a pretty strong online presence already.

Doing some research, it could be replacing the ‘Origins’ store. From the building permit it says suite 1708 and Billy Reid is 1706.

Origins is closing after this weekend. Jo Malone should open in a couple of months in that spot.

The new Aritzia spot has opened. It’s a nice looking store. I’m not sure what’s planned for the previous space.

Very curious question - but with the opening of Shake Shack, does anyone know if that location will be serving alcoholic drinks like stand-alone Shake Shack locations do?

My prediction is no - because Chipotle also serves alcohol at its stand alone locations, but I could see it working if NorthPark implemented a wristband system like Willow Bend used to have.

All US stores have closed permanently due to the COVID-19 impacts. Preston Park & Northpark closed recently. Uptown & Stonebriar closed right after lockdown in 2020.

Ugg appears to be on the move. There’s signage on the old J. Crew Men’s Shop space for it, but I assume this is a temp space until the current space is remodeled or a new space opens.

Zales is “temporarily closed”. Not sure if a remodel is happening here or what.

Sarah Flint who has 2-3 pop-up stores is opening what I assume is a pop-up in the old Frye space this Fall.

Panerai is moving to HP Village. That will open that spot up and the adjacent large open spot... maybe something like Prada will open there? Their pop-up at Neiman Marcus was pretty successful.

Paige has closed and supposedly moving to Legacy West. Tumi is moving next to Johnston & Murphy and Ugg has opened a temporary space in the old J. Crew Men's Shop spot. I wonder if these three spots are being combined to make a bigger Ugg store or if something else is going in there... It is right on the edge of the luxury store section.

All interesting moves. Lots of movement these days.

I am keeping an eye on the Panerai move to Highland Park Village, because that would create the possibility of a larger tenant moving in and combining the space with the previous LK Art studio.

I'm thinking it will allow Burberry to move their Children's store into that space. It looks like Parachute is very possibly moving into West Village, so that could free up that spot in NorthPark as well. Madewell is said to be opening at West Village as well, but I could see them having a second location since that line does pretty well.

I always figured Burberry Children's was a holiday pop-up to fill a storefront, or at least I hope so lol. Seems like a waste of a space for another retailer.

Haha yeah I also posted that post about West Village. It will be interesting to see what happens with that proposed tenant list and if they leave Northpark for new digs.

Burberry is moving into this space during the Summer. I'm pretty certain this move will include their children's line, so that will open up a lot of space on that side of the luxury wing. It will be interesting to see what happens there with Panerai moving to HP Village as well.

Buck Mason is opening where Vera Bradley was. St. John is opening where Max Stanco was next to Corner Bakery. UpWest is opening upstairs next to where Nicole Kwon is about to open. I assume this St. John store will replace the HP Village location...

Quite the interesting mix of tenants coming. Wondering if Northpark is trying to extend the Luxury corridor with Burberry and St. John moving closer to Dillards, and the addition of Maria Tash opening with mid-high priced jewelry coming soon.

I imagine that's the goal. If Parachute doesn't move to West Village, I assume it will move within the mall to another slot. Burberry Childrens, Burberry, Panerai and the vacant spot next to it are all going to be filled with luxury brands... It would be good to see if Prada, Moncler, Zadig & Voltaire and Breitling finally come to the market with these open slots along with ones at HP Village.

Looks like Northpark is pushing the Luxury Corridor closer and closer to Dillards court. Will be interesting to see how they handle the old Burberry space and surrounding empty stores.

Fingers crossed for Prada/Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, or Givenchy to come to market in these empty spaces....

Eyeing Creed to open as it has aggressive US expansion plans....
Also maybe a Texas first for Malin+ Goetz as they are also announcing expansion plans (Northpark already has its sister brands Byredo & Diptyque)

On a parking lot by the freeway and build another garage to maintain parking for the mall. I know several people comment that they would live here if possible in a high rise as well.

There seems to be a reconstruction of space sizes going on as well. The Ganni spot seems to be smaller than the space was which I assume would add more space to the Rebecca Taylor side. Would that mean RT is moving or expanding?

Also, the previous Panerai space seems to be expanding some into the vacant spot next to it to make that space a little larger.

My NP wish list: Prada, Moncler, Zadig&Voltaire, Marc Jacobs, Bvlgari (return), COS, Creed
My cool to have list: Loewe, Lanvin, Chloe, Givenchy, Balmain, Uniqlo

I'd rather they'd use that space to accomodate the return of Saks Fifth Avenue to DFW as an anchor.

There's really no shortage of surface lots they could use. The hotel wouldn't have to be massive, it could complement Eataly nicely in the surface lot along Boedecker st.

To me, the only place to put this presumed top of market hotel is on the southern parking lots. Elevate on a parking garage and the views of the city will be excellent. The second floor of the mall from Neimans to Dillards could serve as a hotel basement full of services available to hotel guests and general public with an expanded presence of the art collection... a health club, full service spa and salon, fitting rooms - even perhaps exclusive designer collection suites for private viewings and fitting - and generally personal services wing of the mall.

From this vantage point, the hotel wouldn't have to be too tall to get the best views of town. And having the Park Cities in the foreground is a nice touch.

Normally, when a person posts something unverified or that is not common knowledge which can be interpreted as a fact (such as "Burberry- US Flagship Opening Soon (Next to Robert Graham)"), the onus is on that person to back up what they say with a citation.

That said, I'd also be interested in seeing the announcement(s) that suggests the Burberry store at Northpark is a flagship.

That's news to me. Very often on this forum (and most forums) someone will say, "I heard", "my source" or something similar. I wasn't aware we were required to back up everything we say with a list of sources, cliff notes, and a bibliography. Some members of the forum may have incorrect information, but I don't believe most come here to lie and/or deceive. If anything, I'm impressed by the knowledge people do provide on this forum. I thought this was a space to discuss urban developments, we're not doing judicial review. Lighten up.

The poster in question didn't say that though.

If anything, they doubled down on their implication that their information was factual by claiming it was based on some announcement(s) they saw but haven't shared with the rest of us reading their post(s).

In any event, I'm not trying to derail the topic over this. Personally, I just think it would be nice if they did share their source(s). If they don't, that's fine too (I will then know to read their future posts with skepticism).

Yes, I'm sure you could, if such information existed . . . Oddly, a google search turned up nothing about a Burberry flagship for Dallas.

Asking for sources and links is pretty standard practice on development forums (even more standard is providing sources from the start).
