Lenscrafters is going into the space where Visionworks was. That will open up a large space next to the upper level of NM. I wonder if Pinto Ranch plans to stay with Tecovas coming. I could see Pinto Ranch being a better fit in Preston Center or in other University Park shopping centers.

I’m very curious to see as to whether Louboutin will be relocating, or opening an additional store, at NorthPark within upcoming years, considering how small their HPV store is and that they’ve already built a major presence at the mall with their in-store boutique in Nordstrom, and now, Neiman Marcus. It would make a lot of sense.

It looks like Prada is taking over the entire Nike space? A little weird, but either way, I’m so happy that they’re coming to NorthPark. Now, let’s get Miu Miu to open up where Gucci was.

It says it's going to be 11,000 sq. feet, and the former Nike space is around 20,000 Sq. Feet, so it's definitely not taking over the entire space. Also don't forget that Lululemon is expanding into part of the former Nike space.

I don’t see why Lululemon doesn’t just take over the former Disney store space. Either way, that’s good to hear.

I do not know the current sqft of Lulu, but the renovation permits list the store coming in at 10,171. Maybe with a little digging that could give us an insight into how much they are taking of the previous Nike.

Would be nice to have a small space be able to open between Prada and Lulu to give space for another new to market brand.

I think it definitely belongs in the Macy’s wing, where Athleta, Nike, North Face, Under Armour, and Viori are. Even Alo’s placement in the center was a bit weird to me.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Versace moved over by Prada to be by them and the new Gucci store.

And T Mobile is moving next to the new LensCrafters location where Toni & Guy was.

Kind of weird that these types of stores are still at NorthPark lol. I thought Park Lane already had a location but I’d think it would be better off there.

Stopped by Northpark yesterday. Prada is only taking up half the Nike space for sure. It definitely looks like something will be in-between Prada and Lululemon. Why NP hasn't kicked out Victorias Secrets and filled that entire space with a Lulu flagship is beyond me.

Northpark isn't going to "kick out" stores if they're doing well and can pay rent on time. Victoria's Secret is constantly packed, and is still a fairly popular store. I don't think NP is going to kick out a store with a strong following. It's also the only lingerie shop in the mall, so if VS leaves, that could impact the success of other stores in the mall.

Tell that to H&M, lol.

VS is in decline. The vast majority of women find it to be cheesey with products stuck in the past. A turnaround isn’t guaranteed. Northpark should only carry the best. They can add smaller lingerie stores to fill the gap.

Wolford seems to be going back into some peer markets with stores in Atlanta and Houston opening. They could come back to NP or possibly in the La Perla space at HP Village if they did re-open here. I don't see Agent Provocateur re-opening at NP...it seemed like an odd fit.

While we're at it, get rid of Everything But Water (I think there's one at Preston Center) and bring Vilebrequin back to the Dallas market.

New maps reflect exactly that. Prada will only be taking half the pervious Nike, creating a long store space to the center gardens. They could honesty fit two spaces in the remaining Nike if they create a space similar to how the new Creed is being built around the new Gucci.

It looks like Tonal has closed and Shinola appears to be renovating as it's "Temporarily Closed". I could see Aesop moving into the Tonal space (their current space is too big) or maybe a Therabody could go in there since they have a HQ presence in the area and I don't think they have a retail location here. Another observation is that the Abercrombie signage has been re-installed. I'm not sure what the issue was there when they removed it.

According to Tonal's website they are "temporarily closed for renovation"
https://www.tonal.com/event/northpark-center-showroom/
Most likely they may be moving to another part of the mall.

The temp Sunglass Hut is closed which means the remodel should be wrapped up this week. Also, I'm pretty certain the space between Prada and Lululemon will be divided into two spaces.

Not surprising the company has been struggling financially since 2020, and filed last week in European courts for bankruptcy protection while they search for a new buyer.

This will just open up space for hopefully another new to market retailer.

In other news, Tonal has re-opened and Shinola appears to be closed due to "unexpected repair work" needing to be done.

Balmain is now hosting a summer pop-up inside Neiman Marcus. Last year, they had a Barbie themed pop-up inside of Neiman Marcus as well.

"EVER SINCE PIERRE BALMAIN'S FIRST VISIT TO DALLAS
- WAY BACK IN 1947 - NEIMAN MARCUS AND THE HOUSE OF BALMAIN HAVE ENJOYED A VERY SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP.
THAT'S WHY I WAS SO HAPPY TO CREATE THIS SUMMER COLLECTION THAT COMBINES OUR SHARED PASSIONS FOR FRENCH HERITAGE AND PARISIAN SAVOIR-FAIRE WITH MODERN SPINS ON CLASSIC
SUMMER- SPORT SILHOUETTES.
-OLIVIER ROUSTEING

I am interested to see if Balmain would consider opening a Dallas boutique at NorthPark Center, considering how heavy their presence has been at Neiman Marcus and how clearly in demand they are.

I still don’t understand Claires coming back to NorthPark, they sell their products in Walmart stores now. Unless it’s like a totally new concept kind of store, they should be across the street.

NorthPark's website lists this as a temporary closure. I hope that's not the fate of the Dallas location, I've bought clothes there before and I love it.

Would've preferred for the to open at NorthPark, but I guess they're opening at Highland Park Village now. Makes sense, they'd probably have to wait a lot longer to get a space at NorthPark that's not right next door to the Lululemon (assuming the Gucci space)

Hoping to see some more spaces announced soon. Some ideas incase Northpark Center Management is reading lol

LVMH: Givenchy, Moynat, and Bvlgari (retuning) would be welcome additions to round out the recent LVMH brands expansions at HP Village.
OTB: Vivienne Westwood & Dsquared2 would be joining the main brands of OTB at Northpark Center (Marni, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander, Diesel)
Kering: Stella McCartney (returning) would complete the presence of all main brands having storefronts in Dallas
Richemont: Has the most room for expansion with Delvaux, Chloe, and ALAÏA missing from the Dallas market. Not to mention the countless watch/jewelers under the group Buccellati, A.Lange & Sohne, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-Le Coultre, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget
Prada Group: With the entry of Prada we might expect to see other brands they manage such as Miu Miu, Church's or Car Shoe
Hermes Group: John Lobb exited Houston years ago maybe they would be willing to try Dallas.

Definitely want for more retail like this to appear on Knox, or even in Downtown Dallas (need more stuff there to make shopping there more than just Forty Five Ten and Neiman Marcus). As much as I love NorthPark and Galleria Dallas, I feel like too much of our cities retail is concentrated to malls, and most of the ones that aren't, aside from what's in Highland Park Village, are just other locations of stores that are in malls. I'd love even more retail to move towards the Arts District, where the JW Marriott and the Hall Arts Hotel are. Apple, for example, would look really nice there with a uniquely designed store.
