The Texas Rangers won the world series this year.

And I am pretty damn excited and thankful. I think a lot of us must have talked about it elsewhere online or in person! I definitely heard quite a bit of fireworks for about an hour. Honking, all that shtuff. I think a lot of people said OMG (and a sigh of relief) on that final pitch and subsequent glove body-slam. Anyone notice the guy with the Sonic the Hedgehog hair (not the one actually on the Diamondbacks) flip-off the Rangers (or the whole world) after the called strike? He was located in the seating behind home plate to the right and standing. Pretty funny and now I'm not sure if I noticed him ever before during the game - a plant? Whatever, it was awesome dot com.
