Ok, so Ecuador won yesterday. Not a surprise, although for a minute there early, I fell for the offsides goal call and was wondering wait what. . .? But, it was alright. Offsides in this sport is precision to a point you. . . well never mind. Lets not get into offsides. It's like a souffle.

US got a draw. I was hoping for a win, but, counted on at least a draw which is what happened. US needs to win Iran and with an extra goal or two more than Wales and Iran score and at least draw England. England has already scored nonsense + against Iran. Not sure Iran will allow that again against Wales or the US. No loss and the young US team stands a chance at moving past the group stage. There needs to be a win, though. Not just draws. Can't even lose in the group stage.

And, btw, this forum is hemisphere and earth friendly. Don't be shy to cheer on any or several other national teams as you choose. I tend to stick to the side of the planet closest to the US. The last one four years ago had me flying Mexico until they couldn't pull it off anymore. It was really exciting to see their matches.I also get absolutely no work done during the World Cup! Today is a fine example of no work accomplished.
