Meet-Up 2017

I know one person who is onboard for a forum meet-up asap besides me. We need to make this a thing again like it used to be.
So, I recommend a get-together sometime this coming week/next weekend. Anyone game? There are others out there who could show up who are not members of the forum. . .

I might be up for attending a meet up sometime. Unfortunately I'm in and out of town a lot for the rest of the year, but if I happen to be in the area I'd attend.

Thats strange!!I I will check on it. I haven't been shooting nearly as much I work 40 plus hours now and living in Carrollton I don't get to dallas as much as I used to. But I do from time to time and I take the cam.

Is anyone still interested in this? Perhaps we could just get the conversation started and find out everyone's schedule.
I'm generally available during the week after work and on weekends. Unfortunately, I'm actually pretty booked for the next few months, but I figured in the meantime we could just try and see if there is interest and find out what time works best.
I was reading through the Victory Park topic and it seems the area is, unfortunately, still a ghost town. I know a number of us want to see that change, so one of the things we could simply do is plan our meet up in the Victory Park area.

Before we lose any steam on this one and turn it into a 2019 meetup, I'll throw a date and location out and we can go from there:
Date: Thursday, May 17th
Time: 6:00 PM until whenever
Place: Victory Tavern (2501 N Houston St, Dallas, TX 75219)
I don't get down to Victory often, so if there's a better spot, then I'm up for anything.
Does that work for folks?

I think this will be a great way for people not familiar with Downtown to get exposed more to the area, bring some more pedestrians onto the streets, and also even help Downtown residents meet each other.
