Still amazes me that KERA/13 wasn't able to broadcast in color until 1974. I thought sure I'd seen some of the Sesame Street or Mister Rogers shows before then in color but I guess I didn't. The DHA posting also talks about KERA/13 being the first in the US to air episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus, and that the members of MP were here and appeared during a 1975 pledge drive.
