I seen this DMN article on Reddit… construction has started.

They’re also using the rendering I’ve posted earlier in this thread. I guess, they’re going with that design?

Actually the biggest and deepest hole ever dug in Dallas was for the nearby Crescent Court building complex. It took more than a year to dig it out.

I think it's necessary to interrupt the sidewalk somewhere around the site this way; I would just encourage them to raise the grade so it signals you are well and truly leaving car-only territory -- and entering the school zone crosswalk so to speak...

Hard to say exactly from my vantage point but my guess would be around 20 floors complete and around 10 to go.
