Yes, the tower crane is de-constructing itself.

This photo was taken 2/21 at about 2:30. Someone with a good camera and some time could put together a slideshow of the process.

Iconic Fountain Place’s residential ‘twin’ set to open in Dallas

The tower has 367 units with an average unit size of more than 1,250 square feet, which is large for a high-rise apartment. AMLI and Page developed larger units to cater to the Dallas market, Bowen said.

While a typical high-rise apartment building may be 60 percent one-bedroom units and 40 percent two-bedrooms, AMLI Fountain Place has 45 percent one-bedrooms, 50 percent two-bedrooms and 5 percent three-bedrooms, he said.

Average rent will be about $3 per square foot and above, which works out to $3,800 to $4,000 a month. Units range widely in size, so a small one-bedroom would start at roughly $2,100 a month, and the penthouses will rent for $8,000 to $9,000 monthly, he said.

The facade in the front still has boarded up windows on some rooms. It's not really 100% finished, more like 99%

Not weird at all most of these properties the social media is done by the leasing agents and the owners get upset if there aren't at least three posts a week on their social media. Leasing agents are paid based on signing leases and overall move-ins not posting awesome Instagram shots worthy of D magazine coverage. Leasing agents don't make lots of money either so what do agents strapped for time and more interested in getting leasing prospects signed on the dotted line. They grab the easiest image upload, throw a tag line in and move on to bigger pressing projects.

I’m guessing this rising cap is a new feature for this type of a sloping glass roof. It’s to provide security for the window washers who I believe have been training and testing it lately.

AMLI Fountain Place Tower is in its final stages of completion. About 95% of the outside is done with some minor tweaking of a few window panes in upper floors, exterior lower floors, & courtyard areas. It is an impressive addition to the skyline.

Any news on leasing progress? I know that they're targeting a July opening, but given the eye-popping prices coupled with lots of people losing their jobs, I can't imagine their numbers look great...

Ask local luxury Apartment leasing agents and you will have your answer. So far traffic hasn't fallen off and I have seen lots of relocations pop up in the last two weeks alone as people chase jobs to the Dallas market. I will admit though a lease-up that big could go either way.

AMLI's Fountain Place is about 98% finished, with some work at the street level & landscaping the courtyard. Quite an impressive addition to the Dallas skyline.

AMLI Fountain Place's top was open today and there were workers hanging from the scaffolding unit. I had never seen this in action, so I thought I'd share.

Hey everybody. Made an exciting trip to this skyscraper Saturday, and I was able to scale the building in its entirety! Here are a few pictures I snapped (most of it was video), and I even found the original plans from 2017. Most of this building is complete and ready for tenants, however there is still work being done on the last 6-7 floors. The penthouses are very large and are subject to the slanted glass at the very top!

Since this is a residential building, I doubt it. Folks like to sleep in dark rooms that don't have florescent lights shining into their windows....but I could be wrong.
