Putting spandrels between pairs of floors sure did make it look like a 20-storey building in this latest picture.

Great shots kingpin. Really solidifies the growing density in Uptown.

Anybody have any idea (even if it's just rumors) as to what the retail tenants will be?

The Victor appears to be in the final stages of construction with some of the top floors and facade needing some additional work to finish the building.

Interesting to see how The Victor looks in reality vs an earlier artist's rendition.

Maybe the first time I've ever liked a parking structure significantly more than the tower sitting on top of it.

The park structure reminds me of a department store since many of those have no windows but usually long walls with limited ornamentation. Its def more than Dallas usually gets when it comes to parking structures. The only think that would have been better if is they had built green walls on the garage with plant life that would help with pollution.

The Victor has about six more weeks of work on its façade & the construction should be wrapped up on the tower. Each side of the tower has a unique aspect.

I won't say I'm necessarily in love with this building, but it definitely has turned out better than I expected.

Hadn't considered that each side does have a unique look. Maybe that's why I like it. IDK

According to their website, "a chef-driven restaurant set upon a raised patio"

Looks like 9,500 square feet of space for "curated (LOL)" restaurant/retail. I can find no information about whether any of it has been leased.

Very nice place. It's cool that downtown Dallas isn't the only "big city view" in this city anymore. The views of Uptown and Victory park from those apartments are beautiful.

If I could afford to live in Downtown/Uptown/anywhere (lol), the photographer in me would definitely prefer to have Downtown views, but... I toured The Victor a week ago and the views from that unit (image 4 on the DMag article) were really insane. Didn't even feel like Dallas (in a good way).

Those are incredible views of Uptown and Victory Park. It looks dense and reminds me of downtown Vancouver. This will be a great addition to the city but hopefully they will build some affordable housing.
