If they haven't secured financing by now, it probably won't be happening anytime soon. The lending banks have dried up.

Sorry for the delay in posting this, y'all... Kinda been on the Discord full-time for the past few months. Just been very busy (and have a new baby) so haven't been on DFWU OG (for anyone who's still dragging their feet on joining the Discord, you should join!)...

Anyways, I spoke directly to Todd Interests a couple of months ago. They confirmed that we will see more information on Isosceles later this year, specifically renders and other project details. Patrick Todd said "it'll be our best project yet," so... We'll see. Not getting my hopes up but fingers are still crossed.

We'll see indeed...

lol we Dallas folk are so jaded by dead-end proposals, that we always expect the worst...rightly so.

So true. I'm always one who will take the path to be happily surprised by new announcements that have a real shot at being built as opposed to those pie in the sky proposals. I do hope the East side of Downtown can see more activity in the coming years.

East Quarter is an up-and-coming restaurant district in Dallas
The East Quarter, a living and working neighborhood that bridges the gap between downtown Dallas and Deep Ellum, will soon be home to about a dozen restaurants and bars.

https://www.dallasnews.com/food/restaur ... in-dallas/

The brothers behind Dallas-based development firm Todd Interests plan to create a “self-sustaining economy” in the East Quarter, and restaurants are a key component.

Dallas chef Nick Badovinus already operates American restaurant National Anthem and steakhouse Brass Ram in the neighborhood. James Beard-nominated chef Omar Flores plans to open Tex-Mex restaurant Muchacho by the year’s end, and its live music component is aimed at drawing a dinner audience. An unnamed sushi restaurant is coming soon, too.

Wow, that's pretty crazy! I was only aware of National Anthem and the rooftop bar on top of it, had no idea that there was even enough space for this many establishments.

Crazy to think how (relatively) quickly this neighborhood pretty much popped out of nowhere. Hoping to see more residential and maybe even some condos built around here!

About 14,500 people live downtown, a population that has grown by 71% in the past 10 years.

Does anyone have any info on this? Hopefully it’s still in the works for EQ. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cvp-kgcOmQv/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

This parcel is owned by Scott Rohrman’s firm 42 Real Estate. Todd Interests, who owns the ‘majority’ of EQ, has long planned for a ‘future boutique hotel’ further down Commerce. Or, it has been in their marketing material for a few years, at least!

The below has some expected opening dates for some of the signed tenants - the dates for Etta and Cafe Sophie seem optimistic, but the flier has been updated this month.

I think the Isosceles Tower and Rohmnan's twin towers, all slated to be built on the Eastern side of Downtown adjacent to Deep Ellum, are destined to be only pretty renderings on paper, never to be built. The momentum on the Eastern side of Downtown has cooled considerably.

^thats probably good. The increased visibility from a trenched highway improves visibility,
