Like, why has the Dallas booster club allowed Houston to have the tallest building for so long?

And why has the city living title been up for grabs just as long?

Sophisticated Le Meridien hotel to debut in downtown Fort Worth in spring '24

A new Le Meridien hotel is coming to downtown Fort Worth. It will be at 811 Commerce, inside the former Hotel Texas (hotel across the street which is now the Fort Worth Hilton) annex. The Le Meridien's upcoming location will be convenient to many downtown Fort Worth spots, including the Fort Worth Central Station (where train passengers can connect to the TRE, TexRail, and Amtrak; bus riders can find many Trinity Metro buses; as well as a Greyhound stop), the Convention Center, the future Texas A&M downtown campus, and more. The hotel will have 188 rooms/suites, 14 floors, an all-day restaurant, a rooftop bar, a coffee bar/marketplace/library that will also play host to small-plate evening dining, and ballroom/breakout spaces for meetings and weddings.

The Fort Worth Public Library has decided to move temporarily. Their most recent location was closed. The Library will use the soon-to-be-ex - City Hall location. The City is in the process of moving to the office building where Pier 1 Imports was based. The Library has not yet made a decision on a permanent downtown location.
