Maybe these things should be moved to a retail / restaurant discussion tab.

very urban part of the metro mostly surrounded by single residential use.

Interesting fact and just history now, but Highland Park was for a long time the densest city in Texas at about 4000 people per sq mile, and even with the urban growth I think it's still top 10, maybe still top 5. Garland, Arlington, Plano, and finally the city of Dallas have surpassed or are nipping at its heels.

Have you seen Cribs on MTV lol. How else would the 1% keep track of the time they spend shopping for more watches.

They should relocate Starbucks next to the former Draper James spot. That current Starbucks is way too big.

Looks like Vince is moving next to Ralph Lauren. Is Kiehl's still open?

Are the only spaces now the former YSL space, the soon to be former Kiehls space, and the soon to be former Vince space?

According to the HP permits site - former Draper James space is being remodeled for Frame. Former Vince space has remodel for Van Cleef. Will be interesting to see if Frame is moving permanently which could open up a large space with temp Market store. Van Cleef is exciting!

Van Cleef & Arpels is a great addition. A Baccarat store would also be a good fit in one of the small spaces if one were to become available. Still waiting on Prada to return to this shopping center.

La Perla makes more sense. I've always wondered why they don't have a lingerie store. You can't just wear Victoria's Secret underneath Chanel.

Spaces for new tenants:

Previous Forty Five Ten
Current Frame
Current Christian Louboutin temporary space

The Frame/Temp Louboutin space could be combined into one larger store (perfect for Prada to return to the center).

Anyone have news on Van Cleef & Arpels ? It was listed as coming soon for a long time, and now it has been removed from the online maps?

I know permit work had already begun for the space, would be a shame if they pulled the plug.

Great if someone could make the drive and update us on the brick paver progress and stores coming soon. Love to see some pics the village is always breathtaking.

The brick paver work is still going on. I assume once they are done with the main entrance side, they will move over to the other side. The white boards are still up on the new Frame location, not sure what the timeline is for that. Rolex is still under construction and the expansion of Bluemercury is still not open. The VC&A spot is pretty gutted out, so I"m not sure what the plan is there.

It looks like a lobster place is going in next to Escada.

La Vie is opening a permanent flagship store in the old Forty Five Ten spot. It should open the beginning of October.

Are the YSL, Anne Fontaine and future vacated Frame stores they only spots left to fill?

The YSL and Frame space could be connected for a flagship tenant. Unclear what is going in the prior Vince space since VC&A is not on the map as coming soon. Any word on Yo! Lobster restaurant? I couldn’t find anything online about it.

LaVie Style House Will Open a Flagship Store in Dallas Next Month.

After a successful 2019 pop-up and a partnership with MARKET, LaVie Style House is opening a flagship storefront in Highland Park Village. The boutique will stock the brand’s signature printed pieces (shirts, caftans, turbans, and more), accessories, and one-of-a-kind embellished apparel. Says co-founder and Dallas native Lindsey McClain, “We are delighted that our flagship store is going into our dream location. The storefront is inspired by a pink Parisian jewelry box—a wonderland of ornate caftans and kimonos.” LaVie Style House is slated to open on October 1 at 60 Highland Park Village.

Taken today to show the progress of the 2nd story addition to the previous Vince space. I know the original plan was add a 2nd story there for Vince so they could bring back the Men’s collection. Their new space next to Ralph Lauren has always felt temporary to me. Wondering if they will move back to their old space and Van Cleef would go into the current Vince space next to Piaget and Cartier.

That would make the most sense.
VC&A stores aren’t usually that big and being wedged between those other two stores would be a better space for them.

I also saw that work was being done on the Bluemercury expansion.

Looks like VC&A is in fact going into the old Vince space. They’ve put up the construction signage for it. The new Frame location appears to be done and the Bluemercury expansion should be opening soon. LoveShackFancy will be opening in the previous Frame space.

I’m not sure what the plan is for the old YSL and Anne Fontaine spaces.
