I think the 30-31 story residential tower next to this lot is supposed to kick off soon as well.

Nice. I wonder if Harwood will still build on the previously planned "Glacier" residential high rise site behind this at some point...

As far as I know, yes, but don't think a crane's up yet.

Yes, underground parking so this one will take a while but the existing buildings are coming down slowly so it will be forever before we see anything above ground or even the construction crane. They are fully vacated and being demoed.

This building looks like it will stand out on the Uptown skyline nicely. I think there's another 30-story building going up next to it soon too.

That rendering makes it look rather more dominant than it will in real life. It looks like they dropped a 1.5x rendering of 23Springs into a 1x photo of Uptown.

Yes, indeed, the site has been cleared for 2811 Maple, next to 23Springs. Looking forward to seeing construction get started on these two...

Really eager to see this one (actually this AND 2811 Maple) get underway. How is the demolition coming along on the 23Springs site? Any sign of digging commencing on 2811?

I hope someone will post photos as they progress.

It appears that those living in 2811 will have a nice view of 23 Springs. Almost a skyline blocking view.

Drove by here today and noticed a new fence placard up with images stretching around the property. This is going to be prominent along with the apartment tower behind it.

Which apartment tower are you referring to? Selene, the recently completed one across the street? Or another one (so much going on in this small area that I always have to ask what people are referring to... good problem to have though!)?

Drove by this project today, and yes, the fence is wrapped in promotional materials, and there is equipment on site that appears to have just started digging, but I am not sure if they are still cleaning debris, including old foundations. This project will take forever before we see any above-ground work. They have a huge hole to dig for office parking. Parking ratios have only increased since the 80s, and this building is competing with the buildings in Frisco built with parking lots as far as the eye can see.

There is a huge hole that is being carved out. I drive by this every day and thought I saw parts of a crane, but I'm not sure.

The depth of the hole for this tower probably corresponds to the number of underground parking levels this development requires. Since the tower is 31-stories tall, I'd imagine they'll need a lot of parking for residences and guests.

I'd post photos, but, nah. I see this and 2811 pretty much daily walking by. I'm sure someone will let us know the moment a crane goes up if I don't remember to mention it!

That lawn facing Cedar Springs is just totally wasted space. Decent pedestrian traffic along Cedar Springs there, too.

There’s 3 cranes in total for 23Springs and 2811 Maple. Only got 2 of the cranes. In one of the pictures you can kinda see Maple Terrace U/C. It’s gonna be a nice row of towers coming soon.

It's still quite a hole. Concrete pours and whatnot.
