I'm in agreement with Tucy I think most of the musings about NorthPark expansion have always been contained in this forum. I think the DallasNews covered a hotel rumor once but besides that its mostly our sugar plum dreams planting the seed that something is in the works.

I think NP developing its North side lots with mixed uses and more parking garages would be great. Office, hotel, condo and restaurant/retail space would all do amazing there.

Johnston & Murphy will relocate soon and open up that space.

Also, is NYX cosmetics renovating or closed?

I'm glad Nyx left. Since the day it was announced, it seemed like a bad fit for NorthPark. It's a much better fit for Galleria Dallas or Park Lane, and if they are relocating, I hope they go there instead.

Nice. This and the new Rolex store going in at HP Village gives them a strong presence in the market.

I saw Eataly this week. Definitely a full construction crew everytime I see it. They have a lot more structural work left to add the 3rd story so while I’m hopeful for a 2020 opening I’m not sure they will make it.

Maybe by then there will be a vaccine for covid. Part of the Eataly experience is a packed store full of customers and diners.

Wow. Seeing how badly this situation affects a mall as strong as NorthPark makes me wonder how other malls that aren't as strong, such as Willow Bend and Town East, will pull through.

It's probably due to the retailers themselves closing stores across the country rather than differing from mall to mall.

I remember them being announced at Northpark, but believe that HP Village tried to woo them. Looks like Northpark was able to seal the deal.

Welcome addition indeed, I am big fan of the brand and look forward to see what they do with the space.

Byredo finally showing on the map but still not listed on the coming soon page. Also the map hyperlinks to Aesop in the space next to Spanx - wonder if they are on the move? They spend so much money building out spaces it would surprise me but at the same time this is a repeated NorthPark pattern of movement. Wonder if this will slow down considerably as retailers have to tighten their expenses.

Any news on Louis flagship opening of Eataly dates?

There are also a lot of restaurant vacancies (some long term ones - Fridays/Theodore) Will be interesting to see what happens there. I think a Laduree, Magnolia Bakery, Fig & Olive, Le Colonial, Momofuku, or Milkbar that would be really unique and trendy would do very well at NorthPark. I did notice Eataly offices took over the Green Restaurant space behind AMC so that is one down.

Outdoor Voices site still has Dallas NorthPark as coming soon. The Austin store was very busy when I was down there last week - with the lines at Lululemon in DFW 20 people deep it seems like they would do ok to reopen.

Hope to see more exciting announcements on spaces like the Microsoft Store and other empty fronts. We really need a COS (Houston and Austin got one first).

I was thinking COS would be perfect in the old MS space. Billy Reid will open in a week and the Parachute store is open. I noticed Lucky Brand and GNC are now gone. Bath & Bodyworks will take over the old Peloton space, I assume at some point next year after Trains at NorthPark leaves the space where it will be temporarily housed during reconstruction.

They were said to move to NP when YSL was announced to move. I imagine this is the previous temporary Louis Vuitton space across from YSL.

Dr Martens is opening at NP on the upper level by Lids and the Swarovski store remodel should be completed soon.

I think Kering is ditching Highland Park Village. Kering's owner did express his admiration for NP.

So that would leave Alexander McQueen as the only Kering brand left at HPV.

Still quite a few empty store fronts with no news on the site. We are used to seeing a waiting list with a bunch of coming soon. Hopefully they are working through some deals to bring some missing brands to the DFW market.

I would expect them to move to HP Village with the other luxury jewelers (Harry Winston/Cartier/Piguet/Van Cleef/Rolex/William Noble). Maybe a swap for Balenciaga ?

Bvlgari also just debuted a new store concept in San Jose,CA so maybe they want to build a new Dallas space ?

They did move, to make way for the LV Global Store. I do find it odd that they are gone, but they did close their Atlanta location a while back.

Re: "LV Global Store" What does that even mean? I don't think it's a label that LV has used for the Northpark store (or any of their other stores, for that matter).

Re: Bulgari (and it is a "u"), the really odd thing is that the Bulgari website still shows a Northpark boutique. Remind us again, where they moved to?
