Somebody reported on Nextdoor that the Elrod’s grocery store will close on 2/24/24.

The Sprouts grocery store taking its place was reported to be opening in Spring 2025 by someone on Nextdoor, but I remember hearing end of 2024.

Per Google, Elrod's Cost Plus is now permanently closed.

Crown Buffet also closed a couple weeks ago. Demolition should begin soon.

"It will simply be called Old Monk Oak Cliff and we intend to have the same menu as Monk and build the space out and decorate as closely as we can to the Henderson pub," McKinney says.
