Wow. This is a smart way to maximize their real estate and surplus parking. I would have never thought of putting high-rise residential/mixed-use on that little triangle.

Yea it’s very wise. And not to mention the added density in that immediate area. 415’ is gonna look great!

The "conceptual massing" makes it looks just as tall as 23 Springs will be across the street. It also seems to be the missing piece of the Crescent complex when you see it in context.
I'll look forward to visiting the restaurant at the base of the tower by taking the #1 Malcolm X/Maple bus or the 103 Cedar Springs.

This would be a great location!

Agree it looks great but let’s tamp the brakes. The OLC and FAA may have something to say about the 415’ height..
Re: Uptown Dallas: Crescent Point Tower (415 FT | 30 ST)
The OLC needs to just focus on urban design and let the FAA worry about the height.
Re: Uptown Dallas: Crescent Point Tower (415 FT | 30 ST)
Cool! This may be the tallest in Uptown. That area is going to be like driving down Cedar Springs in a canyon. Also, not to mention the additional proposed Lincoln Properties development down the street.

Was that deep spiral ramp constructed with footings for a skyscraper in the master plan and we just never knew it?
Or are they going to have to demolish that end of the multilevel underground garage to get enough new foundation pilings in there?

The tallest is Parkside Uptown aka the New Bank of America Tower at 450 ft.

I believe Miyama will be tallest, followed by Crescent Point, then 23 Springs but Lincoln could top them all with one of their new towers. No matter which one comes in first, there is a rash of height coming to Uptown.

DBJ article based on the OLC documents.
30-story apartment tower proposed at edge of The Crescent in Uptown Dallas
Renters could live next door to hub for finance, shopping
https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2024/03/29/30-story-tower-uptowns-the-crescent.html
It seems like it will be rebuilt somehow. The presentation had a schematic of the building that showed three "new" below ground levels of "parking access" that connected with "existing" parking under Stanley Korshak.

415 will probably pass w/FAA. As for OLC, they can go eat croissants from a drive-through looking at Crescent presentation paperwork they won't say no to.

One thing in particular that is nice to see - yet another residential tower instead of an office tower. . .

Wow, what an unbelievable transformation for that area the last few years. Selene, Maple Terrace, 2811 Maple, 23 Springs, and now this, all within a block or two. Even more if you stretch out another block or so. I believe Harwood still has another lot right behind 23 Springs on Bookhout slated for a high rise. Probably the hottest area in town right now.
