Fort Worth: The Crescent office and mixed use complex

Yes, confusing choice of name recognition when there is already a Crescent office-plus-mixed-use complex in Dallas, except that it is being developed by (who else?) the company named the same thing.

"A strong lender relationship and proven track record of success paved the way for The Crescent Fort Worth, an 800K SF project in the cultural district that will eventually include a 200-key hotel, two office buildings and a 180-unit luxury apartment tower.

'When times like this happen, we at Crescent aren’t that disappointed because it sort of keeps the riff-raff out,' said Joseph Pitchford, managing director of Crescent Real Estate Equities. 'If we have great projects, we’re going to keep the attention of the community of architects, contractors, and debt and equity participants.'”

3230 Camp Bowie Boulevard office building

"The project will be located at the corner of Camp Bowie and Van Cliburn, adjacent to the city’s storied museums, Dickies Arena, and Will Rogers Coliseum."

It reminds me of a smaller version of The Quad[rangle redevelopment infill office] in Uptown Dallas, or of the "creative hub" built and being marketed at 14th and Spring in Midtown Atlanta:

But leasing is farther along in FW than at those comps.

Just noticed Tnexster had introduced this project in FTW misc. thread when it was first announced.

That name is pretty gutsy. I was expecting to see a huge major development here. It's a good infill project, but with the Crescent Dallas being 30 miles away, this is hardly as iconic. I guess it doesn't matter; no one would ever confuse the two.
