1925 San Jacinto Blvd

Just drive by this building this afternoon, and there is a temporary fence around it. Not sure if its a full-blown demo or some renovations, but something is happening to this small building. I hope it's not a First Baptist purchase for more parking...

According to DCAD its owned by First Methodist Church nextdoor.

I can confirm it’s being fully demolished. The last I heard it was going to be an outdoor space for the Church/day school.

An outdoor space is better than a parking lot, though.

I thought this property was part of the Methodist church not First Baptist.

Curious as to whether or not this will be fenced in and closed off, or accessible to the public, too.

Drove by this week, and it's coming down piece by piece. The roof was removed weeks ago, so now they keep breaking the building down into what appears to be chunks workers can lift and remove without major demo equipment.
