A 1970s-era shopping center at 75/Meadow is getting a facelift. The work will take place over the next year. While the center's work happens, grocery anchor Tom Thumb is also having work done. It might be just a new look, or maybe an expansion (?)(which would be very welcome, as the store is a bit cramped, compared to some of its other stores).

The empty Cancer Center, formerly a Luby's Cafeteria, needs attention immediately. It's boarded up like it's been prepared to get hit by a hurricane.

There's a construction fence around it now, so I don't know if it's about to become something else, or due to be torn down. There's no signage around it at all.
