RAFT: River Activation for The Trinity (Reboot)

I'm looking at rebooting RAFT, not necessarily taking the lead, but, certainly getting it going again. They were busy for years and it dropped off a few years ago after some fantastic main characters left, one of which was a great forumer here for ages before moving off to London. It held on until Monica D. left. It was always a blast. If you could think of anything to do along the river, forest, trails, etc. w/in Trinity basin - it happened. Including a hilarious Sasquatch hunt and other times even vendors and a food truck. Also, an All Out Trinity event member all the time. Evening camp-outs even. So on. . .

If anyone is interested in brainstorming new or resurrecting old ideas to help get this going again, chime in. Should always be fun and given the nature of RAFT, it's outdoors. Any meet-ups of course can happen online or al fresco.

The thing RAFT was very good at was not being too formal that Dallas gets so caught up in it played the little steps make a big impact card well.

RAFT was a great thing. It never seemed to have an agenda just the idea of getting more people interested in the Trinity. I went to a couple events and had a fun time.

It has become very unfortunate that a couple of organizations with very poor records of stewardship wish to fill that space. Their public events are riddled with shameless self-promotion, misplaced SJW speak and long winded attempts to establish credibility that they lost long ago. It should never and will never be that way.
