Has there been anything on here lately about rebuilding the crazy water tower in University Park? (right between 3521 and 3533 Northwest Parkway, on Northwest Hwy)

Driving by, I also liked the cool chimney on 3601 Northwest Parkway (1963) nearby.


Oh, and lots of work just north in Dallas around Walcrest Pump Station and Reservoir.

PS -- the beautiful facility being rebuilt

They're rebuilding it again? It doesn't seem that long since the last time they did it. I'm guessing 15-20 years. It should last MUCH longer than that.

“Blastco installed scaffolding and is placing a shroud around the entire tank to enclose the work area.” From now till end of May they’ll be repairing inside and external problems with the tank and then repainting it. They will not be working on the concrete pedestal.
