New Dallas sculpture honors lynching victims
The display is called "Shadow Lines" and resembles a giant sundial. Names can be seen in part of the metal sculpture; sadly, these are people who died by hanging. Three of them met their fates on this tract of land. A dedication ceremony for the "Shadow Lines" sculpture took place recently, with city and community leaders in attendance.
