After completion of dredging work last April, plans are being put in place to work on Bachman Lake's dam, spillway, as well as the trails surrounding it. The paths will be widened, with added lighting and benches.

Thank goodness! The trail on that side is only two feet wide, three at the most. It is also rough and bumpy and easy to twist an ankle there.
Also the bridge crossing over Web Chappel is just as tiny. A pedestrian bridge there is badly needed.

City of Dallas starts construction on a new skateboarding park
The park will be at Bachman Lake. It will span 46,000 square feet, and be completed by year's end.
