City of McKinney takes another step towards park under State Highway 5

Instead of a Klyde Warren-style deck park, plans are in the works for the Lower 5 Plaza park to go under TX 5, between Louisiana and Virginia streets. Work could start as early as 2025.

A bit strange but I know that taming 5 would be a tall order (not impossible, just likely not enough support/political will to do so). So with that being said, I like this approach, and think it'll certainly help DT McKinney as it (finally) grows.
