PGA Tour Champions Announces ClubCorp Classic Golf Tournament
After being without the Byron Nelson since 2018, the newly-renovated course has a new tournament to look forward to. The ClubCorp Classic will have players from the PGA's Champions Tour, as well as celebrities, and pro athletes not known for golf. The tournament will be held in late April, and has a 3-year annual contract to be played in Las Colinas. This will make for a busier time for pro golf in north TX, as the next Byron Nelson at McKinney's Craig Ranch will be in early May, while the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial in Fort Worth will be in late May.
