If trains are going to be a part of future transportation, we should start now to unify the rolling stock.

Scratch that, looks like instead of rooming with DCTA, what was previously planned as a layover facility just west of Shiloh station will now be the full maintenance and storage facility.northsouth wrote:do we have anyone here who regularly rides the A-Train who can see if they've started any work on the facility to get it ready for the FLIRTs?

Over two recent Sat/Sun nights the main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway were closed to first widen the rail bridge for the second track for the Silver Line and then add a pedestrian bridge for the paralleling hike and bike trail. The link shows how Mammoet moved and set the pedestrian bridge.
