I read this this other day. I'm skeptical. Rawlings and the Dallas Citizens Council and their backers will fight to the death. But if NTTA and TxDOT have no funding.. then it's dead in bed.

I'm not sure if they are going to start construction on the Canyon. I think TxDOT is debating different plans over the Canyon. The options they are considering includes demolishing the Canyon and rerouting 30 altogether. Not sure how that will pan out. But it's something they are seriously consider...

I know these are just averages so they may be completely wrong, but I'm just saying that somebody needs to be looking more closely at stuff like this if fixing the system is ever going to happen. No Need. Status Quo is DART's forte. As long as Cities give them 1% they don't care what the numbers are.
