West Village lost momentum. The abandoned Central Market project, horrible CVS development, and suburb style Quiktrip further quenched the flame. The area needs some new housing/retail developments to really go to the next level.

I never said Downtown Dallas was the epitome of street life, of course that can be worked on, but it should not be portrayed as an unsafe area. We are not going to attract the tourism, residents, and office tenants we need for more street life by telling people that a relatively safe area is unsafe....
