For what it's worth, every non-Dallasite (friends, visitors, work colleagues, etc) I've ever spoke to thought Uptown, LoMac, Victory, Deep Ellum, etc were all part of Downtown. I took my daughter there last month and our experience was good. They didn't have a broad selection, but it was pretty late at night on a week day. If they can fix their quality issues (e.g., the above photo), they should do well.

In San Diego, Sunroad Enterprises built higher than what was allowed by the FAA and naturally, the FAA forced them to remove the top few floors from their building so that it was no longer considered a hazard.
