I'd be interested to which brands leaving the mall are suited to the downtown area.

As downtown continues to gain population, it should be considered as an open air shopping destination.

What market position will this hotel hold? Is it as fancy as the Ritz and Mansion? Thompson? ZaZa?

When is ZaZa going to expand?

With the Harwood district business hotel opening, maybe Harwood will begin a walkability campaign to connect overnight guests to the nearby offices.

Maybe it'll keep rents low.

Are the parking levels being built so they could convert to future occupant levels?

It used to be such an adventure to explore that part of the abandoned train tracks, before the Katy Trail.

Sure would like to see another amusement park set up in Grand Prairie, with resort hotel on Mountain Creek.

Just like a hotel was built on top of the new parking garage to serve the tenants (GS) of the renovated Trammell Crow tower on Ross, I'm sure the new 1,000,000 sqft office space will spur a similar hotel, probably bigger.

These financiers offices will be the foundation for a big hotel, and couple thousand dwellings, restaurants etc. It'll happen.
