Looks like DFW is gaining another Fortune 500 Company (and so is Irving). Caterpillar is relocating to Las Colinas. Has anyone heard anything about this project recently? Actually, yes! It is moving forward. Back in January Fort Worth received $400 million from the Army Corps of Engineers. I think they'll all serve very different markets and clientele. The Las Colinas location is a true resort with 2 golf courses, multiple resort style pools, villas, beautiful grounds to walk etc...The Uptown location seems to serve mostly business travelers and weekend getaways. Well..... Actually had a conversation with the leasing team for Star Park. They told me they have 4 -5 tenants coming to lease within a month. So, looks like things are shaping up maybe. Hudson House opens this Thursday. I hope business is so brisk it spurs other restaurateur's to take a look at the area. I'm still shocked that we haven't seen ANY movement on the vacant spaces at 114 & 161 (Star Park) besides the Starbucks and PF Chang's.

Looks like the Super Fountain is now just 3 separate fountains, that don't shoot near as high into the air as first mentioned. More of just an art piece now rather than a Super Fountain. Still a nice addition though!

That's a good location for Mexican Sugar! I know originally Hugo's was planned for that space pre-covid, but they pulled out and eventually opted to take the Mi Cocina spot in West Village. I thought Mexican Sugar might have taken over the old Perry's Steakhouse space.

There most likely is some sort of addendum to the lease which would allow Hunt to give a Notice to Vacate. The majority of leases would probably expire before any construction would begin anyways. The remaining tenants would be given a nice little payment to help relocate. The Uptown 20 & 30 som...
