I don't know how they are going to fill all of this restaurant space in the city anyway so I am just glad someone took the space. I have fairly deep contacts inside that industry here and they are all saying at this point it is all down to cannibalization of customers across the board and barely abl...

There were some plans going around a few years back under different owners that showed midrise apartment building and retail around the base of that building but it never took off. Would love to see that density realized there especially with the DART subway stop.

If all we end up getting is a traffic light at Knight and Cedar Springs I will consider it a success in providing more safety for local residential pedestrians to connect to that Kroger and also to slow the speed of cars on that stretch of road.

Several dense cities around the world have already started re-purposing parking garages into living and work space. I don't see why we can't do that here in the future as self driving, transit and other services take away the desire to have an individual vehicle to get around that sits idle for most...

If you put about 10 times the amount of living available down there you would not see empty restaurants. I don't understand why there is not much more available living space both apartments and townhomes in that area.

She and her husband live in a home in that area and don't want more traffic around there it is that simple. I don't agree with that position and would love to see apartment towers and much more density there but I don't live in that district so my position really doesn't matter.

Disgusting. There needs to be a ban on any new above-ground parking in our core urban areas. Downtown is becoming a dark sea of garages. I don't even get it, because new buildings aren't really going up. Just new parking. And deader, darker streets with more cars aggressively driving through the co...

I have always thought it made the most sense to have a west east and third coast middle spot (Dallas). We will probably find out in a short while. Once the rumors run rampant they don't want to drag it out and get ahead of the dialogue.
