Some of what Matthews has planned relies on what happens to the Live Oak exit ramp and the future Carpenter Park. Once the ramp is removed some street frontage will be better facing south towards a completed larger Carpenters Park.

Good Latimer Expy and Taylor Street. You can see they tore up the concrete almost a year ago when they started this project. Perfect. Thanks. I didn't even remember that location on the parks plan. Since that plot I belive is owned by the Landmark Building ownership it would have to be something with them. Btw as I rode the bus by the building this morning a crew was setting up show around the tower. They appear to be ready to work on whatever the final tower function will be. They were unloading parts off a truck could have been scaffoldings based on the parts I saw coming off the truck.

The aqua neon pyramid that tops the Centrum clocktower was removed.... sad. Maybe it's being repaired? I hope the aqua neon stays. Yeah, the intersection of Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs is one of the most dangerous ones to try to cross. Crosswalk signs exist but the city has not painted any markers back at all.
