^Absolutely true, and one would hope that the corralling of 5,000 Goldman employees in this area might lead to additional optimism in the residential sector and help build out entire development. Maybe we will start to see some better plans once the Goldman campus starts turning dirt.

The pictures of these units look very nice and the prices seem high end but they also appear to sell faster than Hall...maybe. But in the world of high rise condo living is there no market for something at a lower price point? Or is that just not possible with costs?

This says 815,000 sf which is exactly what the April update said. Only difference I can see is now it's topped out at 13 floors not 12.

After being in Chicago last weekend and seeing the abundance of new supertall residential towers that have gone up in the past few years I wish we could get one of those. I believe the most recent opening is One Chicago which is over 70 floors.

Mixed is best, maybe we have a chance at something taller. Downtown needs more residents and this part of downtown could use a lot more residential as it seems very office heavy. I don't know that we need another hotel right in that spot but who knows.
