This is definitely some prime real estate and for sure, it makes perfect sense that at some point it was going to get developed. I do hope they opt to at least keep the facade of the building Chuy's is in. I don't know it's historical background but it's been here at least as long as I have (which i...

What a nice looking building!
I very much like how it continues Whole Foods' street presence. ← Scratch that, I just noticed that 50% of the building's frontage is driveway. That's a mistake. That should have occurred on the side streets, not McKinney Ave. Otherwise it's a nice building. lol

It's doesn't wow me for sure, and obviously it's subjective, but I think it'll turn out better than the renderings suggest. For better or worse I think it'll be on par with the newish Marriott in Uptown on Fairmount and Carlisle.

If people don't feel safe, they don't feel safe - it's not for anyone to decide how someone else should feel. Objectively speaking, this 7-11 was receiving the police calls it was receiving. Just because it's not as bad as what goes on in say San Francisco doesn't mean it's not bad.

If their plan is to be conservative and move along slowly, which seems likely given the plan to slow play the build out by only starting at 12,000 sq ft on that corner, it doesn't make sense to kick out all of your existing tenants in the building across the street to raze and rebuild. You're basic...
