I'm actually fine with the height as well. I'd much rather keep the height in the core and add to the density elsewhere.

Back to the building, I like how it has actual sidewalks sans those stupid grass strips. That's an improvement over most Dallas projects in and of itself.

The first thing I would do is get rid of those useless grass strips between sidewalks and roads. This alone would double the width of most sidewalks in Dallas, dramatically improving walkability.

San Diego had proposed building one of these from their Embarcadero Downtown to Balboa Park. The costs and impact do seem much lower than rail options but these are also seem slower and lower volume than other transit methods.

That's so odd that they're moving after having (seemingly) just built that building. I don't have access to the article but I wonder what's leading to their relo. Distancing from the former CEO/founder? Cutting costs? I wonder.

It's interesting that the new Goldman Sachs website is featuring crypto, the Metaverse, and other "megatrends." I wonder how this apparent new focus would affect their expansion plans; if it would lead them to an in-town or suburban locale.

By "connects to Downtown" they must mean it doesn't interrupt connections to and from Downtown. I do like how it hides and/or undoes some of the impact of the freeways through there, and hopefully the deck park(s) happen to further mask their impact.
