Let's just hope it even gets built. The house that was on that lot was demoed years ago for a development and still an empty lot. It's so hard for projects to get going in this town for some reason.

They also do leasing for Knox District and I think some other areas of Dallas and they are good at bringing trendy brands that fit the character of the neighborhoods. I can't imagine KC will have something on the level of HP Village, but I do think you all will see more stores unique to the area.

NorthPark always had some type of candy store and when Sugarfina closed, it hasn't had that offering and I think this works for the center. The Galleria in Houston has one, Michigan Ave in Chicago, Lenox Square in Atlanta and so on.

Fabiana only has 3 stores in the U.S., I wouldn't be surprised if they downsized, moved to HP Village or simply closed. They just don't have a large presence in our country, which may lead to a smaller following.

I do think tourists and non-downtown residents are more likely to hop on a streetcar than a bus since there's tracks and a defined destination. That whole West Village area is in a funk. They could probable open a Central Market in the existing store in a few months and make it just like the Lovers location. The temp Robert Graham has closed signaling an opening of their new store in the coming days. Construction of Marine Layer will begin in that space. It will be interesting to see if the Knox ML store closes (my guess) or not.

That would look great right there along the freeway and it seems like a nice size for that side of downtown and close walking distance to State-Thomas. I could see something actually happening here. I think Three Arts should go a different direction with residential and hotel space.
