Drove by the site for the first tower today and three construction vehicles were moving dirt behind the green fences. I couldn't tell to what the extent they were digging up the asphalt, but there's some kind of activity going on.

If Mark Cuban has his way, the Mavs will be building a new arena across Stemmons from the AAC, plus a casino and high rise hotel/resort, which may include multiple towers of varying height. The would really change this area. Of course, this may be a pipedream by Cuban.

The Swexan Hotel is nearing completion and the signage is up on the building. The hotel doesn't look like the original hour-glass design, but is one more added tower to the Harwood/Uptown district.

The crane for the second tower is assembled and working. As has been stated before, these folks at Urby aren't kidding around. The second tower's first floor is already out of the ground.
